The Youth Services Department offers a variety of resources, services, and programs for youth ages 0 to 18. The library's services and programs are designed to positively reinforce reading, encourage adaptive social skills, and provide a welcoming and accepting space for all of the young people in the Coshocton community. Children from birth to thirteen years
Resources to borrow:
- Fiction and Non-Fiction books (some books have been sorted and labeled according to AR levels)
- Magazines and comics
- Audiobooks
- Teacher resource requests
- Character Kits
- Playaway Launchpads with preloaded educational apps
- Educational, informational, and entertaining DVDs
- Sensory toys to help develop motor skills
Resources for use in the library:
- Ten Playaway Launchpads with preloaded educational apps (also available to checkout)
- Three computers with internet and printing capability (located in the Children's Room)
- Educational toys and puzzles
- Seasonal crafts and coloring sheets
Services and programs:
- Community Outreach, such as classroom visits to local schools
- Regularly scheduled programs held throughout the year
- Special programs, including Summer Reading and holiday events
- StoryWalk®, a literary-based walking trail, located at Clary Gardens
Teens from thirteen to eighteen years

- DVDs and Music CDs (located in the 'DVD Room' by Main Desk)

- Computers with internet and printing capability (located in the Reference Area)
- Monthly activities and challenges in the YA Room

- Regularly scheduled programs held throughout the year, including Plugged & Unplugged each Wednesday
- Special programs such as Summer Reading and holiday events
