Youth Services

The Youth Services Department of the Coshocton County District Library offers a variety of resources, services, and programs for youth ages 0 to 18. Services and programs are designed to positively reinforce reading, encourage adaptive social skills, and provide a welcoming and accepting space for all of the young people in the Coshocton community. View upcoming programs in the Events Calendar

Children (Ages 0-12)

Resources to borrow: 
  • Fiction and Non-Fiction books (some books have been sorted and labeled according to AR levels)
  • Magazines and comics
  • Audiobooks
  • Educational, informational, and entertaining DVDs
  • Teacher resource requests
  • Special Collections including character kits, Playaway Launchpads, sensory toys, Tonies, and Wonderbooks
  • Digital content from the Ohio Digital Library and Hoopla
Resources for use in the library: 
  • Playaway Launchpads with preloaded educational apps (also available to checkout)
  • Three computers with internet and printing capability, located in the Children's Room
  • Educational toys and puzzles
  • Seasonal crafts and coloring sheets
Services and programs: 
  • Community Outreach, such as classroom visits to local schools

  • StoryWalk®, a literary-based walking trail located at Clary Gardens
