There are a variety of ways to support the Coshocton County District Library. Whether your tribute is a memorial, an honor, an expression of appreciation, or a celebration of all the library offers, your support is greatly appreciated and will enrich our community for generations to come. Thank you!
Memorial/Honor Materials Program
The Memorial/Honor Materials Program provides a meaningful and generous way to remember a special person while helping your library and community. Each item (book, audiobook, DVD, etc.) is fitted with a plate naming the designee and you as donor. A letter is sent to the family notifying them of your gift to the library in honor/memory of their loved one. To place a request for a memorial/honor item, please complete the online form. Forms are also available at the Main Library in Coshocton and West Lafayette Branch. No money is due upfront. You will receive an invoice in the mail following your submittal.
Monetary Gifts
If you would like to give a financial contribution to the library, you may pay online, by mail at 655 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812, or in person at the Coshocton County District Library, West Lafayette Branch Library, or Bookmobile. Donations may be earmarked. Please include the designee's name and contact information for family notification.
Join the Friends of the Library
The Coshocton Friends of the Library provide vital support and enrichment to the library through their membership dues, volunteer hours, program support, and advocacy. Whether you are interested in volunteering with the Friends or simply want to pay the membership dues, the Friends would be happy to have you as a member of their team. Applications to join the Friends are available at the Coshocton County District Library, West Lafayette Branch Library, and Books Galore Book Store. If you are not interested in becoming a member but would still like to give to the Friends, donations may be mailed to the library at 655 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio, 43812. Volunteering
Volunteers are a vital part of our community, and we welcome your involvement. If interested in volunteering at the library, submit the online application or pick up an application at the library. While we don't always have volunteer opportunities available, we will keep your information on file for 6 months and contact you if a suitable opportunity arises. If interested in volunteering with the Friends of the Library, please fill out a Friends' membership form at the library.
