Cornhole Tournament

Cornhole Tournament

Wednesday, April 28, 2021 | 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Did you know you can check out cornhole boards from the Coshocton Public Library? Starting this spring, it's true!

Join the Coshocton Public Library for a 16-team (2 persons per team) cornhole tournament to kick-off the release of a new special collection: cornhole boards.

To participate in the tournament, teens and adults (ages 13+) must pre-register here. While on-site registration will be made available one hour prior to the tournament, no guarantees can be made for participation.

Pre-registration will begin on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. The first 16 teams (2 persons per team) to register will be guaranteed tournament spots, with additional registrations added to a waiting list. When registering, please use the name of one team member to register.

Registered teams will receive an email from adultprograms@coshoctonlibrary.org with additional information and directions one week prior to the tournament.

Not interested in participating in the tournament, but interested in checking out a set of cornhole boards? Stop by the Coshocton Public Library! This special collection will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to Coshocton Public Library cardholders. While you're here, enjoy participating in an "Explore Your Library" Beanstack challenge, a Main Street-inspired scavenger hunt, or enjoy grabbing some grub from a variety of food trucks. More details will be available closer to the event date.

An inclement weather date has been set for Wednesday, May 5, 2021.

*To eliminate the spread of COVID-19, tournament activities are designed to promote social distancing and safe hygiene practices. Participants are asked to follow all orders issued by the Ohio Governor and Library COVID guidelines at the time of the tournament. These guidelines may include but are not limited to: wear a mask or facial covering, avoiding gatherings of more than 10 persons in any area, practicing social distancing, and sanitizing hands frequently using hand sanitizer or restroom facilities.
