Our annual Pool Party will take place at Lake Park Aquatic Center on Sunday, July 21st, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Anyone who has completed their initial reading goal may pick up Pool Party tickets from Saturday, July 13th, through Saturday, July 20th.

Kids aged 7 to 12 are invited to join us for a special autumn book club. We will meet once a month in September, October, and November to discuss three great novels. Books will be available to borrow from the library four weeks before each session. Registration is required.
Friday, September 14 from 12-2pm, Teens in 7-12th grades are invited to come hang out at the library. There will be food and a fun activity. This month come test your neutralizing skills as we play Exploding Kittens.

The Coshocton Public Library will celebrate the Holidays by hosting a special Open House. The library will remain open on Friday, November 17th from 5:00-6:30 p.m. for guests to enjoy cookies, punch, crafts, and Rudolph! Plus, the Miracle on Main Street Parade route passes by the library located on the corner of Main and 7th. You will be in the right place for all of the evenings offerings!
Sixteen participants will race for the title of 1st place in this Mario Kart 8 Tournament for the Ninetendo WiiU. Three rounds, four people per round, no CPU, all items, four races per round, with total points being recorded at the end of the round. After three rounds, the total of each player's points across each round will be recorded. The top four play in the grand finals. If a tie results in the 4th spot, it will be settled with a time trial on a random map.

Jeweler Jeff DeRan from Dean's Jewelry of Coshocton & Mt. Vernon will share his love of gemstones in a sparkling hour. You'll learn what it takes to work in the jewelry industry, how gemstones are mined, and even get an up-close look at the "rocks". This program is part of the 2018 Summer Reading Theme: Libraries Rock.
