A Book-in-a-Series Book Club

Kids ages 7 to 12 are invited to join us for a special winter book club that will feature books from classic series.  We will meet once a month in January, February, and March for a snack, discussion, activity, and craft, centered on the novel.  Books will be available to borrow from the library four weeks before each session.  Registration is required. 

Calling All Genealogists!

Calling all genealogists - from novice researchers to more seasoned professionals! Join us on Monday, January 28, 2019, OR Thursday, January 31, 2019, to explore digital databases that are sure to make an impact on your genealogical research. During this training, participants will explore a variety of free and paid digital services, as well as receive tips to maximize the quality of their research.

Drive-In Movies @ the Library

On January 12th, kids will be given an opportunity to decorate a cardboard box and park it in front of the big library screen.  With a bag of popcorn, they'll watch a short movie and enjoy the iconic feeling of being at the drive-in movies.  What better way to while away a cold winter's day?  Registration is required.

Maple Science

Science, syrup, and a SWEET time - learning STEM through the magic of maple science is an adventure among friends!  Girls will spend Saturday, January 5th, at the Library, exploring the biology of trees and learning about making syrup.  Girl Scouts of Ohio Heartland are partnering with the Library to provide this very special program for girls from 4th through 8th grade.  Registration is a must.

Campfire Tales

On Tuesday, November 13th, the Children and Teen Departments will join together to share with you the very BEST of storytelling!  The evening will begin with a comedic rendition of a classic Thanksgiving yarn and progress to one of America's favorite tall tales.  We will snack on yummy s'mores and then, after a short break, we will dismiss the more sensitive of our audience and launch into three short, sp
