Youth Services

YA roomChildren's Room The Youth Services Department offers a variety of resources, services, and programs for youth ages 0 to 18. The library's services and programs are designed to positively reinforce reading, encourage adaptive social skills, and provide a welcoming and accepting space for all of the young people in the Coshocton community. Resources for all ages to borrow:

  • Fiction and Non-Fiction books
    • Some books have been sorted and labeled according to AR levels
  • Magazines and comics
  • Audiobooks
  • Teacher resource requests

Services and programs for all ages to participate in:

  • Community Outreach, such as classroom visits to local schools
  • Regularly scheduled programs held throughout the year
  • Special programs, including Summer Reading and holiday events
  • StoryWalk®, a literary-based walking trail, located at Clary Gardens

  • Ten Playaway Launchpads with preloaded educational apps 
  • Three computers with internet and printing capability (located in the Children's Room)

  • Seasonal crafts and coloring sheets
