Come and have fun before or after the West Lafayette Christmas Parade which will go past the Branch Library around 12:30 p.m. This holiday celebration is held in conjunction with the West Lafayette Chamber of Commerce “Christmas in the Village” community event. Winter Break At Your Library DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 3 West Lafayette Branch Library Children & teens are invited to pick up an activity sheet at the library to complete over winter break! Complete the activities listed and return the sheet to any desk at the library or in the drop box for a chance to win a prize. Tween & Teen Time @ the Branch THIRD THURSDAYS | *5:00 PM – 6:00 PM West Lafayette Branch Library Join us on the third Thursday of each month at the Branch Library for art, games, snacks and pop. *NEW TIME - come hang out with friends after school until the program starts! Hot coffee, tea & light refreshments are provided. Lapsit (ages 0-3) FEBRUARY 6 – MARCH 26 Tuesdays | 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM West Lafayette Branch Library From the comfort of a caregiver’s lap, babies and toddlers are given the chance of developing early literacy and sensory skills at the library through stories, music, rhyming, movement, crafts, and more. Preschool Storytime (ages 3-6) FEBRUARY 6 – MARCH 26 Tuesdays | 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM West Lafayette Branch Library To build a foundation of school readiness skills, children will learn letters, read stories, sing songs, learn rhymes, make crafts, and develop social skills.
