6 Featured Art Exhibit An art exhibit is featured monthly at the West Lafayette Branch Library by area artists during the months of January through December. Stop by the Branch Library during regular, library hours to view the exhibit.  December artist: Mary Patterson  January artist: Esther Marie Versch  February artist: Jessica Rohr Holiday Open House DEC. 3 | 10 AM-3 PM West Lafayette Branch Mingle & Jingle with friends and family at the West Lafayette Branch Holiday Open House. Enjoy hot cocoa, cookies, a holiday craft, music, and a door prize drawing. Come & have fun before the Christmas Parade, which will go past the Branch Library around 12:30 p.m. This holiday celebration is held in conjunction with the West Lafayette Chamber of Commerce 'Christmas in the Village' community event. Ugly Sweater Party DEC. 6 | 5:30-6:30 PM West Lafayette Branch REGISTRATION REQUIRED Children & teens (ages 0-18) are invited to wear an ugly sweater or other festive attire and drop in the Branch to decorate cookies, play ‘Pin the Ornament on the Sweater’ and enjoy other snacks & activities. Tween & Teen Time @ the Branch DEC. 15, JAN. 19, FEB. 16 | 5:30-6:30 PM West Lafayette Branch REGISTRATION REQUIRED Join us on the third Thursday of each month to play games, create art and enjoy snacks! Return the sheet to any desk or put it in the drop box to be entered into a prize drawing. REQUIRED From the comfort of a caregiver’s lap, babies and toddlers are given the chance of developing early literacy and sensory skills through stories, music, rhyming, movement, crafts, and more. Preschool Storytime (Feb. 7 - March 30) Tuesdays | 11-11:30 AM | REG. REQUIRED To build a foundation of school readiness skills, children will learn letters, read stories, sing songs, learn rhymes, do crafts, and develop social skills.
