Summer Newsletter 2022

Director’s Corner THANK YOU! Each year, the Annual Summer Reading Program is made possible through community support. The library receives an outpouring of monetary donations from individuals, families, businesses, and organizations for the sole purpose of obtaining prizes that will entice youth to READ. Reading over the summer months is instrumental in preventing the summer slide (losing skills obtained during the previous school year). It is wonderful to live in a community that recognizes the importance of encouraging reading over the summer months. Summer Reading doesn't stop at the age of 18. The library offers a summer full of incentives/programs for adults too. You can look forward to a variety of gift card options for adults. Youth too will have many prize options from a Baby Einstein Activity Jumper to a Kindle Fire 7! Kindly, Jennifer Austin, Director Summer Newsletter 2022 | June/July/August Summer Reading Program 2022 Explore Oceans of Possibilities with the library this summer! From June 2 through July 30, readers of all ages are invited to participate in the 2022 Summer Reading Program. Participation options are available to accommodate all ages and interests.
