CHILDREN (newborn - entering 6th grade)

HOW TO GET STARTED: Pick up a Summer Reading bag at the Main Library or West Lafayette Branch. Prefer to participate digitally? Sign up at coshoctonlibrary.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack Tracker app. 

EARN ENTRIES FOR PRIZES: For every 5 hours of reading (or being read to), an entry is earned for a chance to win a grand prize. Each prize comes with a book to complement the theme. Find the list of prizes here.

TEENS (entering 7th grade - entering 12th grade)

HOW TO GET STARTED: Pick up a checkout stamp card at the Main Library or West Lafayette Branch. If you prefer to participate digitally, sign up at coshoctonlibrary.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack Tracker app. 

EARN ENTRIES FOR PRIZES: For every five checkouts, earn a snack prize AND an entry in the grand prize drawing! Grand prizes for adults this year include a $50 Amazon gift card, a $50 Marathon gift card, and a $50 Walmart gift card.

Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC): book lists for birth-preschool and grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8

Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP): book recommendations for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, early readers, middle grade students, young adults, and adults

BEANSTACK INSTRUCTIONS 

Beanstack is the web/mobile option for participating in the Summer Reading Program. Beanstack users will earn virtual badges, incentives, and grand prize drawing entries as they record their reading activity (children/teens) or checkout activity (adults). 

Signing up on the Beanstack App

1. Download the Beanstack Tracker app.
2. Search for COSHOCTON.
3. Tap on our library.
4. Follow the steps to register for an individual or family. Beanstack allows families to be linked together, so all family members can be accessed with one login. 

Signing up on a Desktop Computer or PC

1. Go to coshoctonlibrary.beanstack.org.
2. Click on "Register an Individual or Family."
3. Fill in your information. Beanstack allows families to be linked together, so all family members can be accessed with one login.
