This walking group will meet on the second Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the Coshocton Public Library, 655 Main Street, Coshocton. Attendees will log roughly one mile of light, city walking. Miles walked in this walking group count toward our community goal! Your miles matter!

In 1913, a group of extraordinary women "hiked" 230 miles from New York City to Washington D.C. Against all odds, in frigid winter weather, these women headed for Washington D.C. with one goal in mind: a federal amendment guaranteeing women the right to vote.

In reverence to these women and their hard-fought battle, the Coshocton Public Library System welcomes YOU to join a community walking challenge! Our community goal is to log 230 miles of walking activity each month from March to September of 2022.

Walking groups are weather-dependent. Cancellations due to inclement weather will be posted on the Coshocton Public Library Facebook page. Participants are encouraged to dress weather-appropriate and wear comfortable walking shoes.
