Birds in Folklore & Native American Life

Tuesday, November 10, 2020 | 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Manon VanSchoyck (who brought us "Batty for Bats" in 2019) will be back with us, this time virtually. She will be discussing how Native Americans used bird feathers in every day life and how colors were a representation of different attributes. She will discuss the significance of "coup" feather, rewarded for acts of bravery and what these symbols represented. Live animals will be included. This program is for ALL ages!
