The Garden as Sacred Space

The Garden as Sacred Space

Thursday, January 21, 2021 | 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

In the dead of winter, the seed catalogs are arriving in the mail and gardeners everywhere are making plans for the coming growing season. And now, more and more of us are turning to gardening as a way of finding harmony with the natural world and as a way to nurture our bodies, minds, and souls.

Ten years ago, staff member Holli Rainwater created a Medicine Wheel garden at her home using a book she came across while browsing the gardening section shelves. As you daydream about next year’s garden, join Holli as she shares some of her ideas and experiences. She will also help you discover the resources the library has for helping you gather ideas and the how-to knowledge to create your own outdoor sanctuary.

This program will appear on the Coshocton Public Library System’s Facebook page. If you are not a Facebook user, you can email adultprograms@coshoctonlibrary.org to receive a link to watch this program at your convenience.
