Dialogue vs. Debate

Dialogue vs. Debate

Wednesday, March 2, 2022 | 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

In this age of social media, arguments seem to be commonplace. Differing views and beliefs are an easy point of contention for two people to not understand each other. There is a large difference between arguing and debating though.

Join the Coshocton Library for Dialogue vs. Debate. Where we will go over the differences and nuances of having a proper dialogue and debate with someone else. At this program, not only will you learn how to use facts and sources to compliment your side, you'll see the difference between opinions and proven studies. We will have debating exercises and training to help us all have a more civilized conversation.

Friday March 4, is National Speech and Debate Education day.

Participants must pre-register if they want to attend. Complete registration here
